Connect Channel

To connect a Telegram channel to AutoDeals, you must be the channel admin, be able to add bots as administrators, and have at least one published message (or be able to post one).

Procedure from the Telegram bot

1. Open AutoDealsBot on Telegram (@AutoDealsProBot).
2. Press Add Channel from the main menu.
3. Go to your Telegram channel settings.
4. Add AutoDealsBot as administrator of the channel.
5. Grant the bot the permissions needed to publish and manage messages.
6. If the channel is empty, publish any test message.
7. Forward a channel message to the private chat with AutoDealsBot.
8. The bot verifies you are an admin and links the channel to your account.

After connecting

Once the channel is linked, you'll see it in the bot's channel list and in the webapp. From there you can:

• configure formats and tags;
• add affiliate tags;
• create manual posts;
• configure autoposting;
• manage admins and settings.

Common errors

• "You are not admin" — open the bot using the same Telegram account that admins the channel.
• "The bot must be admin" — go back to the channel settings and verify that AutoDealsBot is really in the admin list.
• The channel doesn't appear — forward a recent channel message to the private chat again. Don't copy and paste: the bot only accepts forwards.
