Admin management

AutoDeals recognizes Telegram channel admins. Anyone who is an admin can manage the channel inside AutoDeals, depending on the role detected.

Roles

Owner

The creator of the channel in AutoDeals. Only the owner can change sensitive settings such as Always use creator tags or the affiliate tags.

Admin

Can manage posts, operational settings, and channel functions if they are a Telegram admin and have opened AutoDealsBot at least once.

View admins

1. Open AutoDealsBot.
2. Select the channel.
3. Press Admin.
4. The bot refreshes the list by reading Telegram channel admins.

Add an admin

1. Add the person as Telegram channel admin.
2. Ask them to open AutoDealsBot at least once.
3. Go back to the channel's Admin menu.
4. AutoDeals updates the list.

If the person has never opened the bot, AutoDeals might fail to show or associate them correctly.

Remove an admin

1. Remove the person from Telegram channel admins.
2. Open the Admin menu in AutoDealsBot.
3. AutoDeals syncs the list.

What an admin can do

• Publish deals manually.
• Confirm automatic deal publication (if Manual Post Verification is enabled).
• Manage channel posts.

Manual verification of automatic posts

In legacy autoposting you can choose which admins receive notifications to manually confirm automatic posts. If no admin is selected, posts are scheduled without confirmation.

Anti-duplicate protection

If an admin publishes a deal and someone else tries to republish it, the bot flags it. You avoid republishing and keep the channel clean.
