Configure the channel's shortlink provider: Bitly, amzlink.to, or LinkTw.in.

Shortlinks

Shortlinks turn long URLs into shorter, cleaner links. AutoDeals lets you pick a different mode per channel.

Main configuration is done from the Telegram bot:

Channel → Settings → Integrations → Shortlinks

Available modes

No shortlink

AutoDeals leaves links untouched. Useful for full transparency or testing.

Bitly

Uses Bitly when a Bitly token is configured for the channel. This is the historical mode.

amzlink.to for Amazon

Uses amzlink.to only for Amazon links. Other links keep legacy behavior (Bitly if available).

LinkTw.in Amazon only

Uses LinkTw.in only on Amazon links. Non-Amazon links stay normal.

LinkTw.in for all stores

Uses LinkTw.in on Amazon, AliExpress, and external stores, unless you've configured exclusions.

amzlink.to Amazon + LinkTw.in other stores

Uses amzlink.to for Amazon and LinkTw.in for everything else. The most useful mode if you want to keep amzlink.to for Amazon while having a single shortlink for external stores.

Configure Bitly

  1. Go to app.bitly.com and register.
  2. Go to Settings → API, enter your password, and get your Generic Access Token.
  3. Open Shortlinks in the bot, enter Bitly configuration.
  4. Paste the token.
  5. Select Bitly as the mode.

You can add unlimited Bitly tokens to manage multiple channels or accounts.

Configure LinkTw.in

  1. Open Shortlinks in the bot.
  2. Press Configure LinkTw.in.
  3. Enter your API Key.
  4. Pick a domain from the available ones or enter one manually.
  5. If needed, configure excluded stores or domains.
  6. Press Verify setup.
  7. Go back to the Shortlinks menu and pick the LinkTw.in mode you want.

Configure amzlink.to

  1. Open Shortlinks.
  2. Press Configure amzlink.to.
  3. Enter the cookies the bot asks for.
  4. Go back to the Shortlinks menu.
  5. Select amzlink.to for Amazon or the hybrid mode.

amzlink.to must be used **only for Amazon**.

Excluded stores and domains

With LinkTw.in you can exclude:

  • entire stores, e.g. OTTO;
  • specific domains, e.g. otto.de.

Useful when a store shouldn't go through LinkTw.in or when a domain has redirect issues.

What happens if the provider fails

If Bitly, amzlink.to, or LinkTw.in don't respond, AutoDeals does not block publishing: the post is created using the normal link.
