Troubleshooting

Simple checks to run when something isn't working.

I can't add the channel

Check that:

• AutoDealsBot is an admin of the channel;
• you are an admin of the channel;
• the channel has at least one message;
• you forwarded a message from the channel to the bot — not copy-pasted.

The post isn't created from the link

Check that:

• the link is a product page;
• the store is supported;
• the product has an available price;
• for external stores, the Google category is available;
• if using Awin, the campaign allows deeplinks.

The link isn't affiliated

Check:

• Amazon affiliate tag is configured for that marketplace;
• AliExpress credentials and Tracking ID;
• Awin Publisher ID and token;
• Awin campaigns enabled;
• Always use creator tags setting, if the post is created by an admin other than the owner.

The shortlink isn't generated

Check:

• shortlink mode is active;
• provider API key or token;
• LinkTw.in domain is valid;
• store or domain not excluded;
• amzlink.to cookies still valid, if using amzlink.to.

Autoposting V2 doesn't publish

Check:

• V2 is active;
• legacy autoposting is off, if V2 requires it;
• at least one store is active;
• schedule is configured;
• the live queue is not empty;
• filters aren't too restrictive;
• your subscription or add-on covers the store;
• the channel has the right Telegram permissions.

The V2 queue is full of unfit products

Tune gradually:

• add negative keywords;
• disable noisy stores;
• use per-store daily limits;
• increase product cooldown;
• add brand or seller blacklists;
• narrow categories;
• adjust priorities.

Facebook doesn't publish

Check:

• Facebook app is configured;
• pages are linked;
• the page is enabled;
• automatic publishing is on;
• the daily limit isn't reached;
• the page token hasn't expired;
• Meta permissions are approved if the app is used by external users.

AI generates weird text

Try:

• making prompts more specific;
• asking for shorter titles;
• describing the channel's tone;
• avoiding overly long prompts;
• testing on manual posts before turning it on for automatic posts.

Images or formats don't render as expected

Check:

• the right format for that deal type;
• tags are spelled correctly;
• global vs format-specific keyboard;
• the linked image format;
• media position.
